The "Grandes Causses": enormous lime plateaus in the central South of France - northwesterly of the Cevennes.
The land is quiet - nearly dehumanized, thinly settled and beautiful. The plateaus are cut in parts by deep rivers like the "Tarn".
And beneath the surface: filled with caves.
Up to now, we were only on a short excursion in the "Causse de Blandas".... ,however, in one of the most beautiful caves of France or in the whole world.
Not to question, this area needs more attention!
