Already the approach to the Montagne de la Seranne is beautiful! What's less beautiful is finding the entrance! It took us some time and we even had to cross the garrigue. But we finally found the small entrance - and it was worth it. One of the most complete tours in the area: at around 3 km, not too small, with large shafts, narrow passages, traverses and spacious corridors, the Aven du Grelo offers practically everything you could wish for. There is also plenty of jewelry! The Galerie des Gours, i.e. the underground pools, is particularly beautiful. Unfortunately dry when we visited in midsummer, they are filled with water in the winter months. But then some of the traverses in the Galerie du Lac also get very wet!
Conclusion: a wonderful overall experience! We will definitely be back!
