Beside the Fränkische Schweiz, the Schwäbische Alb (Swabian lime plateau) is the second huge non-alpine karst area in Germany. Most of the caves are relatively small. But there are some famous water-caves in this area and topping all others the famous Blautopf (blue pot) which could rise to Germanys longest cave one day!
